What enclosures are those? Ideally I could buy midnite DC disconnect boxes without the breakers for cheap but very rare to find them like that.

They are just some generic metal enclosures that happen to be about the right size for those breakers and associated wiring. Knock some holes in them for wiring, cut out openings for breakers, drill some small holes for the mounting screws. Maybe not as sexy as the MidNite stuff, but they were salvaged from the dumpster, so other than time, free. Free makes me feel better.

Another member is selling some nice breakers at a really good price. You’ll have to get creative with an enclosure.

I had something similar to the OP happen on a 150a cheap O breaker but it would trip at almost half capacity.

I put a $33 bussman breaker in and its been fine for months.
