For my temp setup, I’m going to keep it a 2 string. I’ll need to combine three 10 awg in a junction box.

No fuses or breakers.

Is it ok to simply wire nut them together? I wouldn’t hesitate with alternating current but wanted to check if that was ok with DC?

10 awg thhn, “solar panel” wire, 20 amps and around 130 volts.

Thanks

I wonder if there are any issues with lever connectors. I’ve not used many but they seem handy.

Below is a test of the clamping force of lever nuts on 16AWG wire. The lever nuts performed well.

Below is a test of wire nuts vs. lever nuts, both hung from a vibratory tool. Surprisingly, the wire nuts performed as well as the lever nuts.
