Hello,

Planning where and how to mount the inverter.
User manual page 11 "Mounting the Inverter", first bullet, "Do not mount the inverter on flammable materials."
I have seen many pictures of folks mounting the inverter on walls made of wood.
Should I put some material under the mounting holes if mounting to wooden studs? If so, any suggestions?

The recommendation is cement board.
It's like concrete drywall.
It can be found at any hardware store.
But anything non flammable is fine. Sheet metal is another option.

Thanks for the response.
The inverter will be mounted on a wooden frame so I can get some sheet metal and put over the frame where the inverter attaches.

If you look at cement board, make sure you get some kind of “hardi-board”. I tried plain old cement board and it crumbles when you drill into it.
