EG4 6500 - LCD is dead after firmware update

Hope someone can help. I tried to do a firmware update on my eg4 6500 last night. Everything appeared to be going well untill the LCD display didn't startup.It appears to be dead. The system is running ,charging the battery and AC output is working. Does anyone have any idea on how to get the display unit back? Thanks

I'd cut all power to the unit, leave PV off, unplug the cable, make sure everything shuts down and just use AC input power after plugging the cable back in. Attempt to reflash again. I never had any trouble flashing the units.

Good news, no problem. That is how I did all firmware updates.

Same thing happened to me. Re-flashed it and fixed !
Scared the crap out of me but the re-flash worked.
