Hey folks.
I have the 6-battery rack with 4 batteries currently. and moving to 6 soon. The wires that come with the batteries are 6AWG to connect to the rack bus bar. The 3000W inverter comes with 4AWG to connect to the rack bus bar. Nothing connected yet.
Prowse recommends 4/0 wire with a T-Class fuse to connect to the rack. He is running two of the EG4 6.5kW inverters running in parallel for 240V off the same battery bank.
The battery terminal connection to my 3000w inverter does not look like it will fit much larger than 4 AWG. Nor does the breaker that comes with it.
Do I need to try and squeeze a larger cable into those connections, or do I not need to worry about it since my inverter is only 3000w?
Any insight? Thank you from North Texas.
