This is my first time on a forum - - so if I don't do something right please let me know. I've got an EG4 6000 inverter/charger that won't charge the battery(16 Lifepo4 3.2v 280ah) . The system was working fine for 3 weeks then one day it shut down (low battery) after a few hours with a 2800watt load . I found the bms had cut out so I restarted the bms. The system starts up but it is charging the battery with only 2amps flowing. I've got 12 320watt panels, full Arizona sun, no load connected and the battery pack is sitting at 49.5 volts. Charge voltage set at 56v float at 54v. charge max is set at 60A.
Seems like it should be charging at max with the battery that low. I tried restarting everything. I noticed that the charging reads 3000w at first then in a couple of seconds backs down to 230w.
Thoughts anyone? thanks
