The language spoken in USA may not be the easiest to master, but it is very handy for all sorts of things.

Science and Math, right?

People who speak various dialects in China find it easiest to converse with others in English who speak a different Chinese dialect.

Because of various peculiarities regarding English, Axis saboteurs during World War ll had a hard time learning all the nuances and were perhaps more easily detected when they were trying to pose as an American.

If a word or phrase just ‘works’, it will be used, even if it is taken from other languages. Egalitarianism (French origin), right?

By golly American english is an interesting language.
