Felicity Solar Lithium Batteries

Thank you very much for all this information, but concerning the purchase of these products, on the one hand, in Lebanon, we easily risk being cheated by the suppliers, and on the other hand, how to make their installation? We personally don't have the necessary knowledge to do such a thing

Yeah I feel what you say. I am in Lebanon as well and did a lot of studies before doing my Build. I ended doing a build for me, my brother, and my parents house. Send me a private message to send you my number and we chat whatsapp. I can reference for you the reliable dealers I bought from

Well i got the 48v 300ah version on the wheels, what can i say.... This company and their sellers are not honest with their claims.
- First of all the claimed 300ah capacity is not true
- Secondly grade A cells, 6000 cycles is also not true.
- 3rd they claim 200A max charge and discharge, with recommed 120A
> I pulled 277ah or 13.2kwh. discharged till 48v or 0%
> Cells absolutely do not look new, i see so much scuffing on them, while they have 276 277 written on them (i assume it means capacity)
> Bms is 100A rated, fuse 250A, and breaker 125Ax2 ganged up

I opened the case up because a balance wire got snapped during shipping.
I opened the case and saw that the bms wire running for the from battery terminals were on the side support brace, they couldve done this much better.
I contacted the seller and she does like she knows nothing. She says that the numbering on the batteries are the batch numbers, which could be true (if they tested at that capacity)
Please see attached pictures.

Hi, thanks for posting your recently received Felicity 300A battery. I have an installation of 5 of the Felicity 200A battery for over a year now. Over this period I've one of the battery temperature sensor went dead and render the battery unable to power up. The Felicity factory engineer send me a modified version of the Firmware that bypass the failed sensor and the battery been working fine after I Flash the modified BMS firmware When I first received the battery, the BMS did not contain the Pylontech RS485 code and hence unable to communicate with the 2 Parallel Deye 8K. The Felicity engineer eventually send me a copy of the Firmware that they have developed for one of their Australian customer and is Deye Li-Bat type 12 compatible. It's been working fine. I recently ordered 10 of these 300A battery and will be arriving at Los Angeles container Port this Friday 12/30/2022 . I'm keeping my finger crossed, praying it will work.

BTW, is the Firmware from your 300A battery out of the box Li-BMS, Lithium Mode "12" compatible with the Deye 8K ?

Thanks.

Any chance you could send me the firmware ? I have 4 of these batteries and cannot communicate with them except for their own EDMS software. Getting them to talk regular lingo will help me to integrate the monitoring into the rest of my system.

I can confirm the 300ah batteries work with Li-BMS RS485 protocol 12, atleast with mine, CAN does not work. The Felicity seller said CAN protocol can communicate with C35D & C358 of the inverter software, mine is older i guess.
The discharge end voltage of the batteries are 48v tho, so there is about 5% reserve capacity left in thr battery.

Also it is best to use a forklift to move the batteries, the cell holders of the batteries sre not that strong so you will get dents on the side panels.

48V should be around 9.5% reserve capacity left in battery not 5%.
44.8V is around 5% reserve capacity left.

1. BMS-Updater.exe --- Win app for Felicity BMS update
2. LPBF_G_V201_DEYE_20211025.s19 ---- BMS firmware with Pylon RS485 protocol support - Li-Bat type 12 for Deye/Sol-Ark Hybrid Inverters
3. Read the instruction in the cmd.txt on updating the OCX file before you even start the BMS-Updater.exe and the PDF file.

WARNING: Use it at your own risk and understand what you're doing. You may render your BMS "Brain dead". Your mileage may vary ?

Might be if the cells were new, mine has grade b and only 270ah-ish cap
Major manufacturer CATL, ETC LFP cells are rated 280A, and Felicity exaggerated their battery as 300A when is really just 280A if A Cell or lower for B cell.

Oh well, it's hard to get Cheap & Good these days. What you pay is what you get ?

BTW, Did you imported the 300A Battery from China or purchase from the felicity.solar reseller in Georgia ?

So what's the final for Felicity Batteries?? is it at your own risk? or reliable?... Im tempting due to price offer compare to other brand.. I think I need to read more

Well, I been using these 5*200A batteries for a year now running my whole house load off-grid with a total 51.2KW. The battery BMS is wired to RS485 in close loop communication with the Deye 8K Hybrid Inverter after Firmware upgrade to the BMS There's not much to manage, one in a while I will check the status via the Solarman APK for the Inverter. I will be getting a delivery of another 8*300A battery this coming week, that will provide 122.88KW to the existing 51.2KW a grand total of whopping 175KW. I can use this to Level 2 charge my EV.

Container ship just arrived in Long Beach Port, California on 12/31/2022, local delivery with Life-gate truck this week ?

It's not that the batteries don't work, they work but just not at the advertised capacity, mine gets 270 and 285. I think the written number on the pallet floor indicates the achievable capacity (or it might be batch numbers idk)
For the price of $1900 it is good.

The volume of the shipping crate is about 0.33cbm, so it is big
