Hello - You have to be careful with DIY lithium batteries. You should have a good firm understanding of lithium chemistry and the operation of battery control modules and accs. since there is always a potential of a fire.

When working on the battery and related systems, wearing safety glasses, thinking carefully about actions, electrically insulate tools like with tape, and even double check the reference! ????

One time, while assembling a battery of cylindrical cells, while connecting the cell together with wire, I accidentally shorted two cells in a circuit, and make an audible pop and visible yellow spark. Felt so silly, haha. But was wearing glasses and no injury, but weird enough afterwards it felt like I had just drank an entire cup of coffee?the cells were fine and still operate in that pack, good times.
