I have a eco-worthy 5000 W all in one inverter with 4KW solar array with a 200 amp service panel getting power to the receptacles but not usable when I put the tester in just a solid red light comes on I believe it’s the ground The panel box has a solid earth ground rod should I be running a ground off the AC in to a ground rod?

If your tester is one of those plugs with the 3 lights and only one is lit there should be a decoder that tells you what the issue is. My guess would be open ground. Try plugging a table lamp or something in for a test.

If it is an open ground, I would suspect that your inverter does not have a neutral/ground bond in it.
