Hi all, I've just joined the site and thought I'd introduce myself, and more importantly my off grid solar setup. I'm Mike aka Voltard for this site. I made myself a substantial off grid solar setup about 2 years ago on a shoestring budget and have been happily off grid since. Please enjoy my images:






Sadly my 2v Telecom backup batteries haven't held up to being cycled - just as I was warned they might not.

I've been using the site as a reference for reputable sources of 3.2v lifepo4 cells and I've found the info here immensely helpful.

Enersys Supersafe 2T1000MJ. To be avoided for off grid deep cycle use it turns out.
