I guess dc solar is done? Lol

WAS done. A year and a half year ago...

That was when the "solar trailers" started to flood the auction market.

I learned about it from an attorney acquaintance in St. George, UT who was handling some of the legalities of the auctions going in in Las Vegas.

They flooded the market in and around LV for awhile. People were paying several thousand dollars for them. For that same money you could assemble a much bigger system on your own. But they were "turnkey" (mostly) so solar novices wanting an instant off-grid system were jumping at them.

Unfortunately, they had sat unattended in an empty lot for some years and the FLA forklift battery packs weren't too happy about that.

Now they want like 25k in Arizona for them. Hardly a deal

Some of them had kubota lowboys on them which was a killer deal just for that.

Says something about solar equipment when we all know a good diesel genny holds its value better.

Yup. That and some Kohler.

Our property owners' association bought one trailer that we dismantled and reinstalled into a cell site bldg. we got for cheap out of South Dakota. The attached images are partway through the process (the scary-ass 12kV/25kVa xfmr is now enclosed, for example and things are tidied up and more "legal"). We wound up with a really nice flatbed trailer we can use for other stuff. System is powering several small buildings.
