I have a new solar acronym I think we should add to the solar lexicon

FLF (Feels Like Free). The feeling you get when your new Solar system comes to life and your mini split is on high cool running on solar/battery

Today was the day, 2 EG4 3Ks and 3 of their batteries. One quick call to SS's awesome Tech line and poof... out comes electricity. It's only been a few hours and already I want more, more, more.

We spent the money 4 or 5 years back so the initial pain is gone.

The power isn't really free yet, but it sure feels good to sit in my A/C office whilst it's pushing 40C outside and the energy meter just sits there.

We also get a "low user" discount of about 20% on the energy we do use, life's good
