Interlock circuit with outside inlet for generator and inside inlet for solar?

I used a 30 dollar changeover switch from Amazon. Switches main panel interlock from generator receptacle to solar inverter.

Of course you have to be very careful not to backfeed your inverter ac output back to the inverter ac input.

I actually 3d printed a lock on the changeover switch so the only way the switch can be activated is for screws to be removed. That coupled with a hidden location and warning labels should assure no one other than myself ever flips the switch. Doubt I will ever actually use the switch but nice to know if could run whole house from solar inverter if I wanted to.... Not that it's powerful enough to run the large loads...

Both SquareD and Siemens has these interlock kits in their catalog. I think I got an off brand version from Amazon and the Siemens part number is ECSBPK02.
