JiaBaiDa UP Series BMS (Parallel Packs)

Thanks for settings. I understand now, why I have many OVP and POVP errors, Deye charge voltage in lithium mode always 57.6, But I want to charge only for 56.0. And I cant set this settings nowhere. When set "Chg Vol" on "Other" tab in JBDTools, after few second it becomes again 57.6. I can't believe the only thing that stopping Deye for charge battery is only the OVP and POVP settings in BMS? Not "Full set voltage" or other, only OVP and POVP errors. But another problem, Release is not working well in JBD BMS. After OVP (3500), BMS must wait until 3400 (in my settings) but after few seconds it begun charge again, and again OVP then loop.

It was great if Deye have setting "Max Battery Charge % from Sun", wrote to their support, the answer is below.
Ah - I think we talked about different settings. You have to go to the "Other" Tab an there you have to alter the Inverter settings.

Just limit Chg Vol to your desired "end voltage" (maby a little bit higher - so instead of 56.0 you use 56.2) - you will see these values in the Deye-Display.JBD DEYE Settings.png

Yes, I wrote about this setting in 2 my previous messages, too. I cant change this setting. When I set "Chg Vol" on "Other" tab in JBDTools, after few second it becomes again 57.6, it always 57.6. :(

Although you are logged in as "Product Manager" with the password JBD2023?

OK - then I have nearly no other idea - as it worked with me on 5 packs. Do you have firmware 2D on the BMS and you can read / write all the other settings?

Danke! Danke! Danke! :) I set "Chg Vol" to 57.2 without any problem. Perhaps the reason was because in RS485 protocol, was PYLON, change to Deye and JBDTools permanent saved this setting .

Hello everyone,
I came across this thread because I'm looking for the latest firmware for the UP16S008 and UP16S010.

With the UP16S008 (firmware version 16) I have the problem that parallel operation doesn't work and you can't change the inverter settings and the protocol type.

With the UP16S010 (firmware version 21) I have the problem that the BMS is not recognized by the inverter via RS485 or UART, no matter which protocol you select. I also have a BMS with firmware version 3A, which works without problems.

Unfortunately, I only found the firmware (24 and 2D) for the UP16S012 in this thread. I've already written to JBD Support (seller), but they don't seem to want to release the firmware. Does anyone of you have a current firmware that they could provide me with?

Thanks in advance!

Got it, thanks.

I think that my problem is related to flow control, and I should use
Code:
flow_control_pin
if I'm using MAX485, but I can't see this in the config of this component. I will try to check the source code and maybe I can create a local component with a flow control pin.

Anyway, I ordered the same converter with auto-flow direction control.

--- UPDATE ---
Yeah, it works with a flow control pin. It's weird why the original author decided to skip this option:unsure:
very thanks for the git link @arH1983
How did you add flow control?

Could you post a picture of these three different version of UP-series PCBs. As far as I know the 2D Version is for UP16S010.

Hello everyone, reading in various forums I came across this thread. I'm looking for the latest firmware for the UP16S015.
You can help me.
Thank you

Hello All
I looking password for jbd8888 user. The user is need for new software for up16s015. Could you help me ?

What is the New software.?

You can download it off this page:

ECO-WORTHY 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery, 5.12kWh Capacity, Server Rack Battery

This is for the JBD-UP16S015 BMS.
When you install the software you can do an upgrade in the menu and it will automatically download another version. Is a older version. I assume E-W modified and made it a custom version. we have a long thread about the BMS and Battery. It would be nice to keep just the BMS stuff here.

You can buy the BMS here

New sw downloads is 1.20.3 while the one from EW is 1.22.16 either way the EW seems to read data correctly. Is the write user name different ? The 666888 works but the JBD2023 will not work . Do i need to change the user name ?

"2023ok" to write. They changed it somewhere along the line. This worked on mine.

Is version 2D of the firmware still the newest for JBD-UP16S010?
I have it on 5 packs and have basically no issues - but never could be nicer ;-)
