Thanks Will, I had bought 2 of the 170ah 12v batteries based on your review. No concern about your review by the way I greatly appreciated the info and recommnedation at the time before this. The 170AH appears to be a different battery case than the one you just exposed the leaking on. I assume they are likely the same battery cells and could leak. I am also interest if you looked at the case on the 170ah battery to see if it has the same case issue. I have used mine as they are still brand new and waiting for my Lance 1995 camper to come in. I don't want to break the tamper seal on them in fear that if I had issues I would not be able to get a warranty retrun on them. Your thoughts; should I just call the manufature and try to get them returned and just bite the shipping cost?I'm glad to see the packs lying on their backs. I think Bigbattery would do well to make that an official recommendation. Not only reducing the leak risk but also the falling over risk, a danger to both battery and person. They do look cool standing up, but safe trumps cool by a mile.
Now it's obvious the Anderson connector is in the wrong place, you can't put two packs snugly together and tidily aligned.
