LFP capacity

If batteries are not used for about a year, will their capacity decrease by 10%?
If stored at 100% SoC in a warm environment, likely.

If stored at 30-70% SoC in a 50-75°F environment, very unlikely you'll see more than about 1%. If in a warm environment, lower SoC is better to minimize cap loss.

All numbers are approximate.

While not LFP, same rules apply - I stored a large number of Lithium NMC cells at about 75-80% in a shipping container that saw 6-110°F for two years. They lost about 5-7%. These were premium EV grade cells made by Panasonic. They seem very very hard to kill.
