Light Focused panel cover

Just read online about a test being done to focus the light onto the panel/s by using a plastic lense over the panel. Article says it gave a 20x boost in absorption. Anyone heard of such? I can't find the link I read on the phone yesterday.

20x is way to high. Will did a video with a mirror to reflect more light onto the panel and it does go up, but I can't imagine a plastic lens is going to help anywhere near that. Keep in mind that the lens is also magnifying the heat, so might also be shortening the panel's life.

Maybe a self contained cooling radiator could be applied to the back of the panel and feast it's energy needs from a portion of the increased power generated. eh?
