MC4 Connections vs Continuous Solar Cable

I need to make 110 ft runs from my panels thru my roof opening and to the combiner.

Is there any problem with placing an MC4 connector just before the roof entry / junction box, or should I go for a continuous run of 10 awg solar cable? There will already be 1 MC4 connection at the panel so this would add a second MC4 on the roof (obviously properly installed and attached to the rail)

Continuous if possible. Less connections, less risk of problems.
