I have a Sofar ME3000 inverter and 3 Sofar Amass E1502 batteries. All has been running well for some time now but what with the rising cost of power I would like to add more storage but the Sofar battery is no longer available.

I am not planning to add more than the original single capacity of the current batteries and are thinking of something like the PylonTech US2000C but I am not sure the RS485 comms between the Amass storage and PylonTech would be compatible. So can I just parallel the PylonTech without the RS485 comms and expect it to charge and discharge?

Thanks in advance
Paul

I would keep within the same chemistry family. That way the charge and discharge rate and depth of discharge is the same.
