Yes, I bought the solar assistant to work with HA but it’s useless because I can’t do any automation, but I searched around and found a LuX python dev. Now im able to control my inverter through HA…

Check the On-grid and off-grid cut off..
The 12k inverter, will not pull below 10% of the battery if it’s connected to the grid unless use Volt instead of SOC..
can you take a pic on your battery settings on the inverter?
Can you share where you're getting the enhanced HA integration from?
Attached is my settings screens from the unit. Whatever communication that is happening is clearly inadequate because it thinks the battery is at 0C and the cells are at 0mv.

When I tried what you talked about above (lead acid, 750AH, save, back to lithium on bat type 14) I get no communication when plugged into either the CAN or RS485 port on my battery. No change in behavior with inverter reboot.
Would love to get communication working. Just not sure what to try next. Ethernet cable is fine (I have a tester)

Did you get or make a custom rj45 cable

A standard ethernet cable does not work in most inverter to battery communications. It will only work for inter battery com. You will need to reference the battery and inverter manuals to get the correct pinout for the rj45 connector and make a custom cable or adapter.

With your current setting does your battery icon green?
Do you have the pin out (diagram) of your battery cable? This is our inverter pin out. Must match with your battey..IMG_0127.jpeg

Working on getting the pinout from the battery now.

Battery icon is green but clearly isn't working right because the numbers it thinks its getting from the battery don't match reality.

Hi everybody, this is Grace from Luxpower, we are going to have the roadshow in May, and we are looking forward to meeting you there,
Meanwhile, we will try to answer your technical questions here as many as we can

Anyone know what the default password is on the gsl inverter? I need to change from 50hz to 60hz and it ask for password? Thank you

Did you try just hitting enter?
I had the same question last night. but it seems the default password is already pre filled. I just needed to hit enter and then I could change the settings.

Are these the same inverters HomeDepot sells? Over 1k comments here. For a few hundred more can get a Sol-Ark.
