BMS.

I'm New here. I have a boat 20 m long to live on. At the moment I have a multiplus 2 Victron with 2 176Ah AGM batteries. Those are old and run flat a few times. They aren't that great.
Now I'm on the LFP batteries. Searching for info. From what I understand you buy 4 cells or 8 to make 12 V. 4 cells in series and mayby the same thing in parallel.

Topbalance all the cells in parallel and then put the cells together. 4 in series.

BMS
When I Google I almost only get de DALY BMS 250A since my multiplus does 3000W at 12V its a 4s 8s set.
But there most be more BMS modules that outpreform this one..where do I search?

Need info.

Make 2 batteries, each with its own bms.

I'm using Overkill BMSs on my (8) 48V Batts. Very happy with them.

It will be 2 packs of 4 cells. Each a BMS.
Altenator input true a Victrom BMS.
