I'm liking the idea of clear heatshrink on all my cimped lugs! Your Opinions Please.....

I think I am going to go for all black 35mm cable with clear heatshrink/adhesive on all crimp lugs, with a cheeky slither of RED heatshrink just before the clear for identifying my positives.

I'm liking the idea of being able to inspect my crimp joints for corrosion through the clear heatshrink.

Please give your opinions!

I'm thinking of leaving a 2mm gap between the lug and the jacket so I can see my sparkly new copper. Maybe put a disco ball in the garage to shine some sparkly colours on it through the clear heatshrink!!

Like caulk covers up a lousy install of wallboard, heat shrink covers up less than beautiful crimps. Of course, all my crimps were awesome.
