will get right to it then follow up with what i have on hand…
- Have a good deal I think available to me —a Renogy 3000W Inverter and a Renogy 40A MPPt for $400 (all new saves about $175 )
- Equipment I have purchased:
1) a Rich Solar 40A MPPT
2) (2) 100ah 12V LiTime LiFePo4 1280W batteries NEW
3) (2) 100w Flexible EcoFlow solar panels
4) (1) 160w portable EcoFlow panel NEW
5) (2) EcoFlow Delta 2 units
6) (1) EcoFlow Delta 2 expansion Battery

- ok what I wondering is should I get that Renogy 3000W inverter / Renogy 40A MPPT
and add another NEW of the same LiFePo listed above?
- I am under the impression I should have at least 3 of the 100AH 12v LiFePo batteries when using the 3000W inverter?
- I do not mind getting another if I should be going bigger in the beginning or do I just start with a 2000W inverter and then see
what my needs will be…but it seems like a waste of money to go low then realize I shoulda went bigger.
— Let me know what you all think…
- I would just be running typical stuff for cooking, fans, etc
Thanks for all your replies..MD

3000w at 12v is 250 amps. That will require at least 1/0 wire if chassis wired. Otherwise 4/0 wire.

Consider a 24v system to halve the amperage. Panels may need to be upgraded for minimum voltage of charger.

Thanks for the reply - I have decided to stay with 2 Batteries ant this and just do a 2000w inverter.
3000w would have been nice but i think for entry level and my needs a 2kW inverter will meet my needs for now.
