Hi I am starting out my DIY project and I’m keeping my eye out on Facebook market for good deals on panels.

I’ve come across to listing
Longi 375w for $80
Canadian solar 395w for $150 (said he could do better if I buy a pallet)

Both are said to be new and by the pictures are sitting in box on the pallet. Both of these are about 300 miles away so it’s not like I can just go check it out risk free.

Is the Longi deal to good to be true? The seller is Asian so could be getting direct from a contact at manufacturer. Other than that in what type of situation do people just have pallets of panels sitting around to off load for cheap?

Some help/advice would be great? Anything I should ask besides can I test the panel to see if they are legit? Or does anyone have experience buying person to person?

Thanks!

There is an excess of panels around, so there are cheap deals but I would like to eyeball them or buy from recommended sources so search a bit closer and use Gumtree, ebay and Craigslist.
