Paralleling two grid tie inverters

Given a 10KW single phase grid tied system and solar panels delivering 388 DCV @ 26 A

1. can I parallel two 6KW inverters (parallel DC inputs and AC outputs) ?
2. What happens if one inverter fails ?

1. If grid is present, multiple grid tie inverters should "latch" onto it and produce. You may exceed a limit established by your utility.
2. You get the output of only one of them.

Not the DC , only the AC.
