Progress on my Solar Generator

For 3000w inverter, I wouldn't use the wires it came with. Looks like CCA, or copper clad aluminum. Causes a lot of problems. Thick, pure copper welding cable will work best to run that inverter. Everything else looks great :D

Here are the latest progress pictures. I installed the new SCC (20A) and so far so good. Astute viewers will notice that the red/black wires on the PV connection look backwards. That's because I used this connector, which was assembled completely dain-bramaged (as some reviews had noted). Also, even though it says 10 AWG, it's significantly thinner than the 10 AWG cables coming from the solar panel. I'll eventually replace it but for now it's serving its purpose.

The power strip has not been anchored yet. Thinking about painting the cord. Will suggested I replace the cables that came with the inverter, which I will do eventually, but still mostly testing and tweaking at this point.

20 feet of 10 AWG wire to the panel (MC4 to stripped wire).

Nice work But don't you consider a 12 Volt car fuse box with it
and battery capacity meters?
