I picked up a couple of 5.1kwh Pytes server rack batteries from Watts247. I noticed that the wires are all 4 AWG, even the line into the inverter.
Should I just run what they spec’d and fuse for 4 AWG, or run to a bus bar or fuse and then step up to a heavier gauge wire to a breaker and into the inverter?
The manual for the Pytes batteries says it is limited to a max 120A regardless of how many batteries are paralleled. I thought 4 AWG was rated for 85A?
I’m planning on running them into an LVX6048.
Thanks!
