After days of searching and using several QR code apps on my Android phone, I'm still unable to scan the QR code on my LiFePo4 cells!!

I asked several sellers, and they all tell me the same, that it is special scanner used by the factory.
Without any information, how to determine what the factory is??

Therefor I ask you guys, gurus, LiFePo4 experts, to guide me to find the way to scan and identify the cells!!
(it's good to know their real age)

Here are 5 scans.

I hope you can read them!!
(I was not planning to buy one scanner special for this)

(The images become too small?
Link to WeTransfer with original size pictures, about 2mb per picture)

I was able to scan a couple of them from the 190AH batteries I got. It translated to the same as the numbers on the cells.

I couldn't get any of your pictures to scan.

Thank you Bob B for tying!!

Did you use the low res, or high res via Wetransfer?

If the scan only provides the same information as the number...
they are easy to read, but they don't give me more information!!
Anyone know what "07HCBC5P18L07 A8CD0001565" as code can tell about the battery??
The number "07HCBC5P18L07" is the same on all the cells.
I guess it is the factory
Next part always start with "A8C" the "D" or "G" and a long number starting with 000 or 0000

im guessing the first is a model number or manufacturer Id and the second is a serial number

That's what I thought since mine was the same .... one of the numbers was the same and the other different. I couldn't get the number to cross reference to anything either.
The format on mine was different in that the one number was above and the other below instead of both being below like your pics. Maybe the QR code format is different too?

Hello, I just jumped into all of this- I thought I was going to be able to use my phone for the QR... I would really appreciate anyone willing to attempt a scan of my QR (and letting me know what it comes back with, too!) Thanks

Yeah, sure.

"07HCBC1 .... And the rest of the numbers you already can see.

Sadly that's all information this code can give you.

The factory usually doesn't reply with "gray" cells bought via Alibaba.

If you bought Grade A cells, +/- 250-300 USD for 280Ah at this moment, you might be able to get feedback from the factory via your seller.

If you bought like the rest of us 70-85 USD (current pricing) for 280Ah...
Then it's nice decoration.

I wished I could provide more feedback about it.
I've spent several weeks trying to get my code from Eve cells confirmed with the factory...
As several other members of this forum...
We all sadly got to the same conclusion : decoration.

Thanks for the incredibly fast response!

These are 120Ah from BLS - they shipped from the US warehouse. I was busy setting up for a quick charge/top balance/capacity check. First go around for me, so lot's of learning. So far so good-

As long as they check good, I guess that's about 90% of what matters?

Thank you again

Possibly the code is proprietary for use with the factory software only for inventory etc.

That would make total sense. Too bad someone hasn't put together a simple program like we use for vehicle vins. 1st character country, the second character make...etc. You input the vin and it spits out the year, manufacture, date made.....

There is...
On the forum, and not a program but your brain.

The last white paper of the eve cells give all information we will get, the production date and factory.

Please search for it in the resource section.

For now this might help:
Data sheet by cell 1.jpg

One other forum member got from Amy.

Some of the codes on lithium batteries and any other items that contain possibly hazardous substances are the MSDS codes for the contents that the item is made from.

For instance I found this code on a pouch cell. WX12I3250. I searched many places and found that as a product number on many different sizes, capacities of LFP and LiLo cells and pouches

Turns out its not a product code , it points to the Material Safety Data Sheet for the chemicals (s) contained in that product. It required to transport any hazardous substance on any common carrier be it bus, train, aircraft, ship, etc.
This was initiated by the USA but has since been adopted world wide as firefighters and other first responders absolutely have to know exactly what they are dealing with.

Is this Amy from qishou?
Not that I know of.
I forgot her new company name, but Qishou doesn't ring any bell.

She used to work for Xuba.

Where ever you decide to buy, if you can buy with laser welded studs.
That will safe you a lot of trouble.

Also..
280Ah Eve , 272 Lishen, they are known to be good.
CalB, BYD also quality.

If a seller provides screws, throw away, and get grubscrew.
Insert them with Loctite red and primer.

Get a torque meter to have equal pressure on each cell.
3.5-4 Nm is enough

And have fun!!

BMS, with power usage under 100A Mosfet based is OK.
Buy 150A BMS as the 100A is absolute maximum.
You don't want to stress too much China products.

You want to use more then 100A?
Contactor based BMS.
Like Chargery.
(Google or seach this forum, and you'll learn a lot about the difference)
