Hi Guys

I have a 2p4s CALB celled 326ah battery with a 250A Daly smart BMS. I'm just doing its first discharge and charge (except a few top ups when messing with the installation. Now i'm not thinking anything is wrong... but just curious..

I have a constant load of about 2.7a on the boat running Venus OS raspberry pi router and inverter (multiplus 12/3000) then its running a DC fridge and also a 240v fridge via the inverter so a spike in current every hour or so up to 12a..

For the first 24 hours the battery held at 13.25v then just after 24 hours it steadily over 6 hours dropped to 13.1v (i actually thought it was getting to discharge end but BMV was saying about 55% SOC at the time) then its held at 13.1 - 13.07v for the last 13 hours or so - as its a bit of an unusual shape graph i was wondering if this was kind of typical and the ones you see posted are more a smoothed voltage curve.. image shows last 24 hours.. and last week..

Your thoughts would be appreciated..

Steve

Top blue line is a low C-rate discharge for Eve cells taken from the data sheet:

As you can see, it takes a small step at two points. Seems consistent with what you're seeing.

Thanks Snoobler.. All the graphs I had seen were pretty smooth.. its now on a slightly downward trend.. now at 13.04v and 33.9 SOC after 55 hours and 224.5ah consumed.. i'm actually pretty happy as it looks like it will survive 3 days with no input.. solar will help immensely (working on 400w) once i get it on and in the short term genset will be able to cope.... i may even be able to heat the hot water with care and a bit more capacity..
