The reason for the inverter is the price difference is minimal, but 3.6kW would be enough to run my base load plus a 3kW kettle which a 3kW one won't. I had to buy a 2kW kettle which isn't as good.

The kettle is the first thing I check with any prospective setup. Note the test case in this video.

Not into tea, but no kettle is bad for aussies too lol- we love a good coffee (hell until I got my first coffee or two into me- mi brian no workz...)
