So..., fridge with square wave inverter?

I have a square wave inverter and cant invest for the moment in a pure sine wave inverter, i have a 3000 watts square inverter, its possible to use my 150 watts fridge while i can get the money for the pure sine one?

While is isn't recommended, I did it for years in my semi. I didn't notice any difference although, it probably was down a bit on power. I also ran a microwave. It was definitely down a bit on power and the clock was wrong.
