Solar array shut off

Ok I am running a 2s2p solar array I want to know the better way to go breaker to shut them down or a switch of some sort to shut them down for maintenance and if a switch what kind ?

What wattage panels? What voltage? Where are they being used? Roof? Ground? Vehicle?
4 panels could use a combiner box, or a disconnect switch. Breaker or a relay setup...

They are on 4x4 poles I have a diy combiner box then they are run thru conduit into the house I have attached a pic of the panels I have 4 (2s2p)

The combiner box you built. Is it just a terminal block, or are there fuses or something?

Does it matter on this breaker which end is used for input and which is used for output? I don't see any indicator on the Ebay switch itself.

I have found no difference. I usually input the top but have tried it both ways
