Solar Panels not producing

Kind of makes me wonder what I will get out of 4 strings, at 3640 watts per string.

PVWatts can answer that more easily if you have details about tilt and orientation. I use a rough rule of thumb that would estimate that a 3.6 kW system might annually produce between 3600 kWhs and 5400 kWhs. PVWatts can give you a better estimate because it takes into account weather and Latitude in addition to the other two factors mentioned above.

Seems PVWatts is too optimistic.

I go into the Advanced tab and adjust AC DC ratio. The loss factor is 14% and that can also be increased to adjust for the optimism.
