Hi all total noob with DIY solar. Well I did build a 150w mini system to power my garden lights but it was very basic.

I have a 5.1 kwh solaredge home PV system which is excellent.

I have a music shed studio that I want to power. During the day, I get more energy than I need so thought about getting batteries for the solar edge.

I wasn't sure how to add batteries to the solar edge.

Rather than mess with this system, I though I would torture myself and make a separate 1200 or 1600 w system {3 or 4 panels}for the studio as its pretty self contained.
An evening session of music usually is around 3kwh. Lots of old synths and the like.

I have ordered a victron 100v30a solar charge controller.
I was thinking of going 24v
Buying Lipo4 big batteries say 2x100ah 12v in series to give 200x24/1000 to give 4.8kwh

Just need a decent inverter and some decent batteries if anyone had any recommendations.
There are some cheapies, well 300 quid a pop, but not sure if they're anygood.

Much appreciated.
