Solark 15k question on mppt connections.

I'm getting close to connecting my PV wires into the solark 15k. For this connection, please let me know if you used ferrules and what quality ones you picked?

I ran 10 AWG XHHW straight in to the MPPT connectors without ferrules. Seem to grab well and no problems yet.

I will do the same, no ferrules, confirmed and thanks. I am using 8 awg. I know Solark says use 10 awg, however I just tested it and it fits perfectly, although a little snug.

Snug is ok. As long as you get enough threads in before you start to tighten the terminal. Otherwise you can strip out the threads.

There are no threads on the Sol-Ark PV terminals.

I do not recommend ferrules for the PV connectors.
