Has anyone come across this Sunpower Performance 6 Shingled cell?

I am interested in the cells' internal structure and how the bypass diodes are connected. From tests that I performed the loss of power is linear in the vertical direction, however, horizontally is a different story.
The Panel has 5 vertical rows of cells that I think are connected in parallel so that the voltage of each cell is around the 30 volt level. Therefore, if one of the five cells is covered vertically then the voltage remains around the 30 volt level however the Current is reduced by 1/5.
Now if the Panel is shaded horizontally by four cells either on the top or bottom the voltage drops by 1/3 and is around 20 Volts. This happens when the 4th cell is covered from the bottom of the Panel to the 4th cell. It looks like the bypass diode is conducting however I am interested in knowing the position of where and how the bypass diodes are connected. Does anyone have any idea?
