Can anyone confirm whether the the LFPs from Shenzen Basen are Ternary Lithium or Lithium Iron. I just saw an option in the Daly Samrt BMS software for this. I have it currently set to Lithium Iron.

LTO is not LFP. BMS' are often specific to the Chemistry being used. Some SmartBMS' have the ability to handle different chemistries due to their programmability. The LFP Chemistry is teh closest in profile to Lead Acid variants and therefore considerably easier to integrate into a Solar System.

Voltage Ranges for the cells are also different so you will require equipment that can be programmed for correct settings, that is SCC, Inverter & Charger.

Basen also has a Mixed 50/50 good/bad rep, just FYI. There are reviews from people on here with both sides.

Here is snip of the options.

After googling and such, it appears that ternary lithium refers to NCM lithium batteries. Maybe selecting lithium iron is correct afterall.
The differences in the pre-configured values isn't much.
