Use DC Disconnect or DC Circuit Breaker for solar arrays?

I have 20 Santan used solar panels rated at 240W each. I would like to create two strings of 10 panels each to hook up to GROWATT MIN6000TL-X inverter. In order to satisfy electrical code, I need a DC Disconnect device between the solar arrays and the inverter. However, should I use the DC circuit breaker instead because it offers better protection in case of power surge. Please give me your feedback.

Growatt manuals are notoriously poor.

It is highly likely that GT inverter does not have PV inputs electrically isolated from AC output. This is the same as their HF AIO inverters.

For non-isolated PV inputs you need double pole breakers for the PV positive and negative lines.
