I'm conversing with a guy selling an inverter/transfer switch and (6) 255W panels for $800. They are 5-1/2 years old. He seems "motivated" so probably $600. If the specs are accurate, panels should be at 96%.
I'm building a cabin in Arizona and my initial goal is a stand alone battery back up charged by shore power. Panels to come later. I appreciate any opinions on if the quality and specs are worth a gamble. It's not "life support" money, but I don't like to bet on long shots either.
Anywho, all critiques and comments/advice are welcome.
