Using 8S BMS on 7S Battery for a Trolling Motor

I found a good deal on used EV batteries that come in 4s and 3s. I was going to make a 7s battery out of them. I've read online that an 8S BMS can be used on 7S batteries, but I'd like to get confirmation. Will there be any issues if I do that?

I'm doing this to build a 24v battery for my trolling motor. What would be a good choice of BMS for this project

7s for lithium Ion 8s for Lifepo4.

Hello. I read your post again, I don't know how, I understood you couldn't find 7s bms. Sorry.
I can't confirm your idea of using 8 s bms for 7s batteries, but it works with active balance bords 8s board for 7s batteries.
