Which generators will work with Victron Multiplus/ Quattro's

Looking to get a 5 KVA generator for my Multiplus but am concerned about weather the Victron Multi will accept input from it - what should I be looking for / and or avioding?

Any generator that can supply 95-140VAC with an input frequency of 45-65Hz.

They are immensely tolerant of crappy incoming power, but they will sync with the INPUT frequency to provide boost if needed.

For charging, the "WeakAC" feature can be enabled.

"If WeakAC is set, the charger will also accept a strongly distorted voltage, at the cost of greater distortion of the input current. Recommendation: Turn WeakAC on if the charger is hardly charging or not charging at all (which is quite rare!). Also turn on the dynamic current limiter simultaneously, and reduce the maximum charging current to prevent overloading the generator if necessary. Note: when WeakAC is on, the maximum charge current is reduced by approximately 20%. "

So basically even the non AVR , non inverter ones will work perhaps not to full rating, thanks

I have a cheap Predator 3850. Power appears clean based on votlage/frequency. It pulls exactly how much I tell it to.
