Problem with growatt split phase

I just hooked up my 2 growatt spf3000 lvm48p inverters and have them set up for split phase operation. When I turn on the breaker to the inverters I get the warning number of 16. Which is, Parallel input phase error. Can anyone helpe with it? Thanks.

Could you provide a diagram of how things are set up?

My completely un-informed guess based on the error message: The system is set up for split phase but configured for 3 phase.

Is it possible line and neutral are backwards on one of the units?

Nope. Not possible, colored wires. I hoped it was that easy. But nope. :-(

Yes I do. I even just swapped the units from the left one being phase a and the right one being phase b to the opposite. Phase A still brings up HS and fault 16. The other says 2P and fault 16.

The instructions even mention the error code if it is not hooked up correctly



And the diagram clearly indicates it is looking for 240 in.

Your pictures show white and black on both. Do the two blacks go back to a 240V circuit or do they both go to the same 120V Circuit?

This - If you're running these in Split phase then you need a double pole breaker from your main panel to deliver both phases (two out of phase hots) to the inverters. And of course, it's assumed you programmed these correctly

Each inverter is getting a separate 120v circuit. The black from each goes to the two pole breaker.

The neutrals are together on the common neutral bar.

I have 240 on the black wires between the two growatt inverters. And 120v from each black to ground.

I guess I'll have to try to contact customer service Monday. I don't know why this is doing this.
