When building an off-grid solar system, which can be used as backup for your home,:
- Would you connect the (-) 12 V of the battery to the ground or to the neutral, or keep it floating?
- Also would you connect the (-) wire of the solar panels to the ground or the neutral, or keep it floating?
I am assuming that the output of the inverter is floating (no neutral pin)
and the ground output pin of the inverter is connected to the chassis of the inverter.
Also the (-) 12 V input of the inverter would be not connected to the chassis of the inverter.
