50mm2 should be good for the battery cables, not sure on your setup though. I have two banks, 35mm2 on each bank, going to busbars, then 70mm2 (doubled up 35mm2) going to the inverter. 2 x 200amp jk bms'es.
I have one bank of 280ah 24v, 50mm cable to fuse and distribution box and than 50mm to inverter, than 50mm from the Daly 250ah BMS to the bus bar and than to the inverter..
50mm is rated at +300a and it's fused with a 200a..
So I would say that your 70mm is definitely overkilled ?

Sorry, im telling you wrong, set it to the float voltage, not boost voltage... Been a while since i set mine up. I got the info from this video if i remember correctly:

I set my other main settings based on will prowse's advice (5000 charge cycle settings) : (so 28.2v)

Watch out for your equalisation voltage mate,
I was reviewing your settings and the off grid garage video..
He says clearly to set equalisation to the float voltage (as you corrected yourself in the post)
So option 11 should be equal to option 14.

Your is not!! your equalisation voltage is 28.2 instead of 27.2(float). So check again your settings

So yeah, I'm trying to setting it up, but the equalisation voltage is tied to the boost voltage.. and that's why even yours is 28.2

I tried to select gel/custom (gel shouldn't go through equalisation) but it won't let me put a boost voltage higher than 28.4 (and the equalisation voltage option is still present.. so I'm not sure if it actually shut it down at all)

So I'm afraid the only option is to put the BMS overvoltage protection right at the boost voltage, so when equalisation kicks in it shuts off the charging port.. that's something I I'm not liking.. putting all the trust on the BMS..

I doubt the equalizeation voltage matters that much tbh, although im just guessing there.. Shouldnt need the boost voltage any higher than 28.2, just no point, for example, check out the below voltage chart:

From 27v - 29v gives you just 1% of charge extra, and that 1% is the 1% that puts the battery under stress.. Only point to charge that high is to speed the charging up only..

Ive had no problems having equalisation voltage same as boost, but then, dont think ive ever charged them fully upto 28.2v anyway yet.

So I ended up putting boost at 28.2, same for equalising, and the high voltage disconnect at 29, so that should keep the battery safe.. and the BMS triggers at 29.2.

Let's see what happens.. it was a bit underwhelming today.. cloudy, 1200wh of panels.. 9a going in ?.

Let's see what happens on a sunny day!

Check all your viotages, and make sure they are the same, and if not, compensate via your settings.. For example, bms may be seeing battery voltage at 25v, but inverter sees 25.2v etc. And under large load it can be more of a difference, and tripping the disconnect in the inverter when batteries are low even if you have say 20% left still.. But youll figure that all out after some experimentation etc.

Whoops, I just realized that I have the upower up3000 hm10022, not the up-hi3000 hm10022.. .and apparently it's not compatible with lithium... Even if I think how I set it up it shouldn't have any major problems..
The epever assistance mentioned that mine doesn't have the capability to reconnect to a depleted battery since it can't see it's voltage (I guess in a scenario of low voltage disconnect from the BMS.. but I have an alternative mode to deal with that.. mmm ?

Anyway now I have another problem, that I think is due to the Daly BMS..

Even if I disable the charging port, the epever manages somehow to inject few amps and keeps the battery voltage elevated....
I have no idea how that is possible!
In the same situation the DC DC charger from the alternator stops charging all together as it should...

Regarding to the cloud version WiFi module WIFI-2.4G-RJ45-A, we temporarily stop selling it.
Now our cloud platform has some problems. and new generation (works with WiFi 2.4G RJ45 D) is in development.
Anyway we hope we can have the new version in the seconded half of this year.
If not so urgent, we recommend to buy WiFi 2.4G RJ45 D in the second half of this year.
Thanks a lot for your support and hope you have a wonderful day!

So you are telling me, that not only do I have to struggle with your cloud service for the last 4-5 months (BTW it is down again), it will take an other half a year till you fix it and not only that I will have to buy another wifi module? Just so I get this right...

I'm having issues getting my wifi box to connect to the epever cloud. With me, I don't have the "plant" option. I only have a "light" option so cand add my wifi box.
See attached screenshot.
Any ideas?

Hi guys. İam using epever wifi 2.4g rj45A black box. İt worked for months good. Suddenly it stopped working. I mean it was offline. The device is still working. After few attempts to reset it i see now hn_00001. İs there any other way to reset it? İt seems that it is not working anymore. I can connect to hn_00001 but nothing happens.

Please, give me an advice. I'm trying to get EPsolar WiFi-2.4G-RJ45-A up and running

Ssid HN-00001 still shows the correct SSID HN-63508. I also did a reset. I already have the second product and it is still pointing to the SSID HN-00001
I know it is old pot but did you figure it out?

The Epever Cloud web site was offline over the last few weeks. Browser returned a '404 Not Found'.

Epever cloud web is working at the moment - BUT WIFI Adapters are offline and they won't re-connect to the cloud.

Let's hope that they are working on some major system upgrade.

After two months, I look at Epever cloud and see that it is still not working.
I contacted Epever support.
There is a new Epever Cloud server at the address: https://hncloud.epsolarpv.com/#/login
The mobile application is also new. Solar Guardian.
It is necessary to log in Solar Guardian with the old login and delete old device and gateway.
I added the same gateway and device again and after the setup says it's done, it's necessary to turn off the WIFI module and plug it back into the solar charger.
After that, everything works and the device is online.

PS. Still no real time data. You need to press Refresh button manually.

Are you sure you login in Solar Guardian with the old login?
I tried login myself with my old one in Solar Guardian but it tells me wrong password, but in the epever old cloud I can OK.
But it can't connect.

I don't know what your setup is.

I just run a $100.00 mini PC and remote desktop into that.

It does no matter with what you login, I log with tablet, cellphone and laptop. you say you using the same old login. I didn't ask for any parameter I just Ask if you login with same e-mail and password in the new Solar Guardian cloud? Or you have to make a new e-mail or password?
Thanks

Old login is working but you need to use e-mail address for username. Password is old.
On new server username MUST be e-mail. On old server you could use username or e-mail.
