I have an outside disconnect and an inside panel. I want to put something between them that will allow me to send power to two inverters. I can do another panel, I've heard of tap boxes, terminal boxes etc. These all cost about $400+ What's the best and most cost effective way to do this?

The whole system is connected to the main ground at the inverter. But then I just realized that the panels are sitting on aluminum frames directly on the ground ,so its like having a ground rod. Is this going to cause issues? Should I remove the ground at the inverter?

Bought some batteries and 2 of the 6 packs have a broken weld at the busbar. All the cells(8s) have welded busbars and bolted into one unit so I imagine it would be difficult to try to replace just the one. Im wondering if this type of terminal can be tapped? Or what can I do? Thanks
