I think it will be higher, close to $5,000.
The breakers and other goodies in the bottom panel will add to the cost.
I will say if given a choice for the same money, I would purchase the Midnite before anything else.

That's in off grid mode. I'm not sure if that number requires any DC PV though. It would require assistance from either solar or AC coupling. To output over 12k total. Or 6k per leg.

To summarize, seems like the solark 15k in its split phase model is two 6kW inverters when running off battery. It has known issues starting 120V loads.
It's more like two 7.8kw inverters limited to 15kW total. I havent heard of a single complaint about it starting loads. All the ones I can think of were with the earlier models (5k-12k).Not based on this thread

I'd be in for a second sol-ark at $6k. It might not be the unlikely actually with the recent solar slowdown.I see another solark price drop coming

I agree. Their Rosie 7K inverter (not an AIO) goes for about $3.3K on Current Connected's site. So add a decent MPPT or two, which MS charges about $1K for one, and there you are. Plus it's got more capacity than the Rosie, so I'm guessing at least $5-6K..

Rosie $3.3k ac coupled to growatt 11.4kw for $1.5k, 18.4kw daytime inverting capacity, 7kw nighttime, and I suspect that Rosie can pull power from grid and supplement with battery to get above the 7kw total capacity

Sorry I really don't know what you mean by AC coupling. Is the Growatt 11.4K a grid tie inverter? I don't know what you're getting at, but like my title says, I'm a noob. Are you saying the MN would be connected to the grid, and the Growatt to the MN, or vice versa?
My point is by itself this new AIO is from MNS, not known for being cheap. So with all the features this thing has, not just the inverter and MPPT's, I just don't think it'll be under $5K.
SolArk 15k for $6800 vs ~$5500 for a new unproven MidNite aio with less capability. My enthusiasm for this new unit is starting to wane.
The best thing about this is a larger and more robust list of viable options. Competition is good.
I wouldn’t be so quick to discount the midnite option. Literally 99.9% of everything they sell is best quality in the business.
The capacity difference for cost is not drastic. Heck The sol-ark 12k is still over $5000 usd.
The 12k should be ditched or replaced with a new model. At one point they had a "limitless 9k" planned that I think was gonna replace it but I haven't seen that mentioned in a long time. I'm glad to see more options popping up.

Might be a good option for those disappointed with the performance of their 12ks but they have prob moved on to the 15k by now if not switched manufacturer altogether
The SA15k $6.8k. IMO, that's not much of a reach from ~$5.5k and in my situation, that extra $1.3 buys 200amp passthrough and proven performance. In my situation, I 'might' be able to get away with 1 15k but it would take 2 MNS to get 200amp passthrough, but yeah, MidNite has a reputation for top notch products and service.
