I just built two more batteries (1x 24V/105 utility pack & 1x 24V/280AH) with the same BMS' from a batch that I used in my battery bank [JK-B2A24S15P]. All BMS were bought at one time. I granted permissions for Location, and paired ONE new battery for testing purposes before putting it into my Battery Bank using a Bench PowerSupply.

Now I am unable to access the other Online BMS' ! They want to be paired again and neither 1234 or 123456 passwords are accepted. This is with the most recent version 4.9.2 (build 68)

NOTE JK Version 4.9.3 (build 69) will not install on my phone (Android 11)

I Uninstalled 4.9.2 and replaced it with the last Known Good 4.7.4. (The version I used originally to commission my Bank BMS') and I am prompted to Pair Again and I get a Pairing Failed message. So now I can access the New Battery I setup but NOT the 4 packs in the battery bank.

I then went into App-Info on the phone and cleared the cache & data, uninstalled the APP and restarted phone, then installed the enjpower-bms-4.8.1.128-21 which used to work as well. This still let's me into the New Pack after giving it Location Perms & Pairing it but NOT the batteries in the bank !

I have renamed the packs and they all appear in the SCAN but never changed the passwords.

NB: I have been updating the App from the Extreme BMS (pgyer.com) page.
I've left Feedback on PGYER for the developer to see as well as I sent a Direct E-Mail to @Nami at Hankzor but now I have to wait out the Time Difference

We also can not modify any setting on the BMS without Bluetooth and an iOS or Android app, right? I know you can at least READ data directly through one of the ports using a hardwired serial connection

If I had an application that would utilize the RS485 then it could be Read/Write. But this does not solve the Bluetooth pairing failure.
At this point I am sitting with 5 BMS' not behaving.

I've struck on a possible cause.
My Battery Bank is located in the Powerhouse @ 50' +/- from the house. BT doesn't go that far sadly.
I initialized the new 105 Utility Pack in the house so the "Location" is different and the BMS' uses Location Data.
Immediately after getting the 105 running, I could no longer access my battery bank packs in the powerhouse. YUP Sounds silly but it could be programmed to check for location as a security feature. There is No Mention of what exactly they do with the Location Service. I can take the 105 into the PH and try again to see what happens.

Well it seems that the JK App handles Location AND BT a bit weird.

Version 4.9.3 will not install on Android 11 After going through a few versions including the ENJ 4.8.1 and continuing to clear cache & data from the app, restarting the Motorola phone so I reinstalled 4.9.2 and set the app/data/cache onto my SDCard.

Went into the powerhouse and I managed to get into a BMS one at a time, then edited the passwords to 1234, restart the App then the next BMS & so on, each time I also shut off each bms with the switch then back on, scan again and got into the next BMS, rinse repeat. Got them all appearing and accessible. I can also get into the 105 in my house as well now.

What a way to mess up a lovely day of warm sunshine when I should've been doing my Winter Prepping.

Just wondering if you ever got a response from Hankzor since people have been saying they are no longer getting any support help from them.

I'm also having this issue - I can't get the app to pair with the BMS.

I changed the default '1234' password to '0000' and never had a problem with it until today. This morning the app prompts me to enter the password for pairing (which I have not had to to since the initial setup).

Now the pairing fails with my new password, as well as with the old '1234' password. The app informs me "Make a pair failure"

I've read through some of the information on this site and I've downgraded to version 4.8.4 of the app but still no joy. Some people mention contacting the vendor to get a 'master' pairing code to get back in. Is that what I should be trying next?

Any advice appreciated.

Edit: my BMS is JK-B2A8S20P

The Tech Support people can issue a "code" but they need the Serial Number which comes from the "About" page in the BMS APP which you cannot access without the BMS....
If you forget your password to enter BMS, please contact me next to BMS.
I will give you a temporary password. Validity: 15 minutes
If you forget the authorization password to modify the parameters, please open the upper right corner of the BMS to view the BMS information,
The serial number provided to my BMS,
I will give you a temporary password. Validity: 15 minutes
interesting notion, just how does that work if you can't get in with the APP ?
then it's only good for 15 Minutes ? Hmmm time difference and email delays ??
if you uninstall the app and remove the data folders to get a clean reinstall, the firmware in the BMS still remembers whatever password you used ! All it takes is a typo when changing a BMS password, the last one done will override the previous settings.

In my case, when I commissioned the Last Two packs I used the default passwords and forgot that I changed the passwords on the existing BMS' in operation (forgot since it was quite a while back) so after a heavy Facepalming (good ol forehead smack) and realizing I did that, I uninstalled the APP clearing the data then reinstalling & I tried the combo as I remembered it and got into my existing packs which I changed back to trying to pair them and voila, it worked then I brought the two new batteries in and managed to connect to all batteries. I got lucky as I remembered.

If you did a typo it would be more difficult to figure out, you'd have to work through the combinations.

This would be good case for a hardware reset button. I take it there isn't one even if you open the BMS up?

It seems like a design flaw. There must be a way to flash it, but getting the documentation would be the problem.

JK get off your ass and resolve these custoner issues. I've had two custome passwords, only for me to be able to access each one about 10 minutes, before they return to failed bluetooth login.

UNACCEPTABLE! HOW MANY CUSTOMERS HOURS ARE YOU WASTING BECAUSE YOU WILLINGLY FAIL TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE? IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH FOR ME OF NO ACCESS.

So unprofessional and poorly managed. No solution means a law suit will be filed soon. That will force your attention, at you cost.

Law suit against who? You traveling across the pond?

JK has a HQ in the US. Since they sell worldwide, you can file almost virtually where you live. No need to swim. You'd pull them right into your local town.

They'd have to swim.

Now, a few folks have talked about once they get into their BMS, they 'change' the password. I suspect they change their "settings" password. I have not found anywhere to change the BT password.

Where would that be?

JK BMS app (Android) allows you to change two passwords, the BT pairing password and the settings password. Pairing password can be changed from the device list, the settings password can be changed on the settings page after you've entered your correct settings password the first time.

I've not been able to find that BT password change area, Would you please put up a photo of that menu and location? Device list, meaning from the app page which scans/shows the several bms devices? On that initial screen, after bt scans it lists the two bms I have. The top far right initial page, has a menu, but no option to change thr bt password, even after bt logging in.
