How to connect Victron stuff for communication?

Hi guys,

I've bought Victron equipment but I find it difficult to figure out how to connect all of them together for communication.
I already asked this question in the Victron community, but all I get is a link to a document with some general information.
So that's not helpful at all.

My question is how to connect these devices together for COMMUNICATION:
  • 2 x MultiPlus-II 5kVA - 230V (for parallel operation)
  • Cerbo GX
  • GX Touch 70
  • SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-TR
I'm totally confused about the different protocols, cable types, etc.

I already have a VE.Can to CAN-bus BMS, type A cable for communication between the MPPT RS 450/200-TR and the Pylontech battery bank (5 x US3000C)

But how to connect the rest for correct communication?

Which cables (and terminators, if needed) do I need and in which ports of the devices do I connect them, so that everything can talk to each other?

Thanks in advance :)
Mike

VE.Bus from unit 1 to VE.Bus of unit 2 to Cerbo VE.bus (2 total cables, "daisy chained")

Connect to internet via wifi or ethernet cable for VRM lusciousness.

  • GX Touch 70

HDMI and USB power to cerbo

  • SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200-TR

MPPT VE.Can to Cerbo VE.Can. One CAN terminator in each of the two the open ports (one at mppt, one at cerbo). One cable.

The Lynx shunt is connected how you would connect the RS450... VE.Can with terminators at both ends.

Will does discuss how a second inverter would be wired.

Do you have a terminator in the Cerbo?

A downside to the Pylontech is that SVS is disabled, and the BMS voltage will not be shared across the system.
