Will PV panels get any cheaper?

If prices drop sufficiently, and efficiency goes up enough, in 5 years or so I might replace all my panels with new ones.

If I did that I would consider putting the old panels on the other side of my roof (NNW facing) and hooking them up to the second MPPT input on my inverter. They would catch some early morning sun in summer, and also pick up a little on cloudy days when I can do with every Watt I can get.

I am thinking about doing the same thing.
If they can really get the panels up to 30% or more efficiency then my 365W 60 cell panels should have drop in replacements that are around 580W.
That would take me from 10Kwpv up to 16KWpv.
Then it might be nice to get a Sol-Ark 15K inverter to do the final bit of upgrading.
